The level on the wand or staff denotes how powerful the spell contained relatively is. The number of charges is limited, but can be recharged with Scrolls of Charging (by first marking the wand or staff, then using the scroll, make sure you're not standing somewhere like in the middle of a town that blocks spells!), though the more a wand or staff is recharged in this way, the higher the chance it will explode and be destroyed. |
