 +===== Race Notes =====
 +
 +Several immunities, but these come with the inability to ever cast fire spells and two significant weaknesses against fire and holy word. Enemies that use holy word or banishment are exceedingly rare, but any banishment spell that does hit you is likely to shred you to pieces without holy word protection, an extremely rare type of elemental resistance on equipment. Wraiths do get access to all the standard equipment slots that humanoid races get, giving them a fair bit of freedom in equipment in what is otherwise a very unusual class with several unusual properties specific to being undead.
 +
 +Instead of playing wraith, you could consider another race and just worship Devourers, giving you many of the same immunities and properties a wraith has due to becoming undead, but without losing access to fire spells. Devourers does make it impossible to cast banishment though, so if you want to be undead so as not to worry about sustenance, but want to worship another deity, wraith is an interesting option for that. Just don't accidentally hit yourself with banishment!
 +
 +A wraith's fire weakness is a problem, but equipment with fire weakness is extremely common and easy to obtain early on compared to equipment that resists electricity or cold, so this isn't quite as big of an issue as one might think. Keep Potions of Fire Resistance on hand if you plan to hunt down things like dragons.
