Devotee

The axis of your existence is your devotion to your god. However, you’ve also been busy in other areas. Your sensitivity to godly powers has also caused your natural magical ability to bloom, and your religious order has encouraged your study. Your religious superiors have forced you to learn weaponry as well, against your will. You will find that they were wise to do so, but you haven’t trained as assiduously as you should have, so you are soft and weak.

The devotee is selectable by players as their class. It has the following modifications to stat distribution:

• Devotee's starting equipment

Starting with both Evocation and Praying makes for arguably one of the most powerful spellcasting classes to start with. Evocation gives you access to powerful area of effect spells to use against enemies, and Praying is versatile and effective once it's been properly trained. They can also use weapons decently to start with, and if you like the look of the white robes then that's a bonus!
