Priests

As a priest, you've learned an intense devotion to your god, and you've learned how to channel the energies your god vouchsafes to his devotees. You've been taught the use of weapons, but only cursorily, and your physical training has been lacking in general. Since you're in tune with the holy powers, you can tell when a god has marked an object as accursed.

The priest is selectable by players as their class. It has the following modifications to stat distribution:

Class Notes

An alternative to the Devotee or Paladin, you're not quite as versatile with magic until you acquire a talisman or skill scroll (no blasting things right away with Icestorm), and you're not as skilled with weapons due to being unable to use a bow. In exchange, you have Praying as expected, and also start with Sense Curse. Being able to detect curses as a skill is an interesting option to start with and lets you save money by figuring out what's worth spending money to identify. Sense Curse is a fairly expensive skill scroll to purchase, so that potentially gives them a unique early game advantage when it comes to looting items.

If you like the look of them then go with them by all means.
